#73 Hunter Pet - Boar won't auto cast Charge

Status: Awaiting review · Area: Classes & Specs · Hunter

A pet Boar will not auto-cast Charge unless you use it manually or the Hunter starts combat first.

Current behavior

Hunter pet Boars with the Charge ability will not auto cast it. The ability needs to be manually used OR the pet needs to be set to assist AND the hunter MUST initiate combat. The pet will not auto cast Charge even if set to assist if the pet is sent to attack first.

Expected behavior

When set to auto cast the pet should use it automatically in all circumstances assuming the ability criterion is met (In range window, sufficient focus, path to target)

How to reproduce

1. Summon pet Boar with Charge ability
2. Set Charge to Auto Cast (Spell Book, Pet Bar or Macro)
3. Send pet to attack from outside of Charge range window
4. Charge will not be used

OR

3b. Set pet to Assist
4b. Intiate combat as Hunter outside of Charge window.
5b. Charge will auto cast
