#405 (Mage) Arcane Missiles does not proc Missile Barrage

Status: Not a bug · Area: Classes & Specs · Mage

Arcane Missiles hits do not trigger Missile Barrage in-game, despite the patch notes saying they should.

Current behavior

The October 15 WoW Forever beta development notes state that Missile Barrage now grants a chance for Arcane Missiles hits to trigger Missile Barrage. However, Arcane Missiles does not appear to trigger Missile Barrage in-game, despite this functionality being explicitly listed in the patch notes. The talent is a 2-point talent, with each Arcane Missiles hit supposed to have a 5% proc chance per talent point.

Expected behavior

Each Arcane Missiles hit should have a 5% chance per talent point to trigger Missile Barrage, for a 10% chance per hit with 2/2 points invested.

How to reproduce

1. Learn the Missile Barrage talent and invest 2/2 points.
2. Attack a target and repeatedly cast Arcane Missiles.
3. Observe whether any Arcane Missiles damage ticks trigger the Missile Barrage buff.
4. Repeat over multiple full channels to confirm the behaviour.

**Expected result:** Each Arcane Missiles hit has a 10% chance to trigger Missile Barrage with 2/2 talent points.

**Actual result:** Arcane Missiles does not trigger Missile Barrage.
