#338 Devour Magic (Felhunter) castable on targets without a purgeable buff/debuff

Status: Closed · Area: Classes & Specs · Warlock

The felhunter's Devour Magic can be cast on targets with nothing to dispel, wasting mana and cooldown instead of showing an error.

Current behavior

Felhunter's Devour Magic ability can be used on targets without any eligible buff/debuff to dispel, consuming the CD and mana cost without any effect.

Expected behavior

In classic WoW, Devour Magic could not be used if there is no eligible buff/debuff to dispel, it would instead error message "Nothing to dispel."

How to reproduce

1. Cast Devour Magic on the player character without any debuff
2. Observe the cooldown be used without any effect
