#240 Paladin tanks can solo dungeons at their own level (potential RMT and economy issue)
Status: Closed · Area: Dungeons & Raids · Dungeons
Paladin tanks can solo dungeons at their own level, raising worries about gold farming and the economy.
Current behavior
With the recent nerfs to mages aimed at preventing them from farming dungeons in ways that negatively affect the economy, it seems that other classes may still have the potential to do essentially the same thing. At first glance, the issue may not seem as severe as it was with mages, since Paladins are not able to farm as quickly or efficiently. However, once mages are removed from the equation, allowing another class to perform the same type of farming can still have a significant impact on the economy. Even if Paladins generate gold at a slower rate, the absence of mage-driven inflation means that their farming can still become extremely profitable relative to the rest of the economy. This could ultimately recreate the same incentives for RMT, just through a different class.
Expected behavior
No class should be able to consistently solo a dungeon designed for players of the same level. In this particular case, the issue is with Paladins, but the same principle should apply to any other class capable of doing it.
How to reproduce
1. Level a Paladin to level 30 2. Equipit 3. Go to Expedition site and solo the dungeon
