#161 Lower-Rank Rejuvenation Can Be Cast While Higher Rank Is Active

Status: Fixed · Area: Classes & Specs · Druid

A Druid can cast a lower-rank Rejuvenation while a higher rank is active, wasting mana for no effect.

Current behavior

When a Druid casts a higher-rank Rejuvenation on themselves, attempting to cast a lower-rank Rejuvenation while the higher-rank HoT is active still consumes mana, but the lower-rank Rejuvenation is not applied.

Expected behavior

In Classic WoW, a lower-rank Rejuvenation cannot be cast on a target that already has a higher-rank Rejuvenation active. The game should prevent the lower-rank spell from being cast and, consequently, no mana should be consumed.

How to reproduce

1. Create or use a Druid character with access to multiple ranks of Rejuvenation.
2. Cast a higher-rank Rejuvenation on yourself.
3. While the higher-rank Rejuvenation is still active, cast a lower-rank Rejuvenation on yourself.
4. Observe that the lower-rank Rejuvenation does not apply, but mana is still consumed.
